MY MUSIC-MY WORLD
have you ever wonder what is music?

well, in wikipedia,it wrote that:
Music is an art form that involves organized and audible sounds and silence. It is usually expressed in terms of pitch(which includes melody and harmony), rhythm (which includes tempo and meter), and the quality of sound (which includes timbre, articulation, dynamics, and texture). Music may also involve generative forms in time through the construction of patterns and combinations of natural stimuli, principally sound.
Music may be used for artistic or aesthetic, communicative, entertainment, or ceremonial purposes. The definition of what constitutes music varies according to culture and social context.
Within "the arts", music can be classified as a performing art, a fine art, or an auditory art form.

Well, as a band member, I feel that music is something one sing or play with their heart and all their passion is just in there. Music is not life, it is larger than life. Music is something which you can exaggerate but not life. Music is not about notes, it is what in between them. What do I mean by that? Musicians read them in a musical way so they can play out a beautiful tune or an accompaniment.
But true musicians do know the real meaning behind the piece that they are playing. They can feel what is in between the notes. They put themselves into the author's mind where they can feel what they were thinking about when writing the piece, be it sadness joy or anger. Music is music when expressed naturally by the musicians playing it. Only feeling the music is the only way to be able to interpret music in between the music notes.

Our conductor told my seniors before SYF2005: leave all your differences outside the band room door, once you have stepped in, work towards the same goal. Not so much of a medal, more of the music!

Isn’t music about nice beautiful sounds (note: its not noise) which help us to relieve our stress in everyday life? What will happen if there isn’t any music in this world? I bet everyone’s life will be damn dull. Come on man, music is something expressive, something that most composers write out their feelings inside. Without music, how can one really express their feelings out with the whole world knowing how they feel?

To me, without music is like something missing in my life. Everyone’s world is filled with music. Without music I will not be able to know how others feel or how to express myself properly.
